The speaker design project emerged from a unique collaboration with a company specializing in surplus electric bike batteries. Repurposing these batteries and utilizing recycled wood, a speaker was created that excels in both sound quality and embodies a commitment to sustainability and responsible resource utilization.
The project's core innovation lies in its resource-conscious approach, minimizing waste and environmental impact. Additionally, the speaker assembly showcases seamless design - not a single screw is visible, resulting in a sleek and minimalist appearance.
Furthermore, emphasis has been placed on ease of maintenance. The battery, a critical component, is designed for straightforward replacement, ensuring the speaker's longevity and reducing the impact of a battery failure.
